Peace, 2011!

Is it really time to bid another year goodbye? Wow.

Firstly, I'd like thank the Lord for all the blessings he continuously poured upon me throughout the year. He truly, truly loves me just as he loves all of His creations. I was fortunate enough to live through another year, healthy and thriving. There's no better alternative.

Secondly, I would like to thank every single person in my life. Because without them, my year would not have been as it was. Whether it was good times or not-so-good, it completed my year.

I have so much to be thankful for, and so many memories to hold on to.

San Francisco Giants season ticket holder. It was definitely nice to go to whatever games I wanted to go to, and know exactly where my seats were. Along the way, Mike and I made friends with neighboring season ticket holders, and took advantage of perks that came with. 'Til next time! ;D

Disneyland AP holder. "Hey, wanna go next, next weekend?" "OK!" Yeah, that was certainly nice. Now, we have no blackout dates and free parking. LET'S GO!! This will never get old for me... ever!

Having been able to go Sacramento Kings games and San Francisco 49ers games -- yes, yes, yes! I don't care how old Arco Arena/Power Balance Pavilion and Candlestick Park are, I will always love the home teams that play within its walls.

AI10 and NKOTBSB concert tickets? Yes please. Random weekend trips? Uhhuh!

A managerial promotion at work? A week shy of my one-year anniversary with the company? BLESSED! :) Though it saddens me that I no longer work with my favorite boss, I am still grateful and joyful that I am headed somewhere. And that I can still go to my favorite boss to talk about work stuff and sports. One.of.the.boys. I am also glad that I can still talk to my old platform team and my previous ABM. Truly, truly happy.

I don't know what 2012 has in store for me, but I am keeping my mind and heart open. Jesus, Drive the Wheel. ;D

HO, HO, HO!

Time flies. Seriously. I've been working 11-hour work days the past two weeks, and only have basically Sundays to myself. Well, I am finally on somewhat a mini vacation (although it's just Thursday through Monday). Being on salary sucks... I want my OT please! Ha. Yeah well, I am still blessed.

Christmas time was fun. I say "time" because it was a series of events. The work Christmas dinner was pretty fun, especially with our only guy riding on some mechanical bull that they pulled out of who knows where. It was his first time. We had an after-Christmas-dinner dinner the following week, where everyone's boiling seafood cherries went bye-bye (only two of us had gone before). It was a success. I love my coworkers, mainly because I see them more than anybody else in my life right now.

The friends and family annual Christmas party was hosted at my brother's house this year, with me as the event coordinator. Haha! We somehow decided to call ourselves "Madlang People" this year though I don't even know what "madlang" means. That's not the important part though. What was important was that we were all together once again, laughing about old memories while creating new ones. We played games, ate lots of food, drank lots of wine and coffee. I received an Amazon.com gift card from my Secret Santa, which I was deeee-lighted about! I'm saving for another camera, in case anyone else wants to chip in. ;) Ohh Leica, please be mine already! I also received other gift cards, a Citrus and Herbs package, dessert for my tummy, and blankets (I love soft, fluffy blankets). SO THANKFUL! We all stayed around until past 3am, which was the latest it's been in years with everyone having infants in tow. Great friends and family, delicious food, and Moscato -- sounds fantastic right? It was.

Then, there was another dinner for the bf's side of friends and family. It was great while it lasted, but having to wait two hours for the party host/ess already killed the mood. Plus, the new limited released Jordan 11s were far more important. Ok, so I can kind of understand, but really? In the end, I got some books, the bf got a pair of shoes, and wasted a lot of money because all but two others didn't care to chip in for tax and tip. Our server was awesome though! :) Thanks, guy.

At home, we open gifts at midnight on Christmas eve in transition to Christmas day. My family and friends truly know me well as I opened and received watches, perfume, a Keurig brewer, more blankets, and cash! *happy dance* :) I am also very glad that my friends and family liked what they received from me this year. My niece, especially, was very thankful for her package. When she unwrapped her present and saw a box, "Yes! A box!" LOL. She knew there were multiple gifts inside. That spoiled little brat; I love her.

Above all the gifts though, I am very thankful I got to spend this Holiday season with my family and dearest friends -- that we are all healthy and thriving. :)

Today, I spent my day running around. I visited my old manager because I know he can calm me down with his rock star energy. Later on this afternoon, Mike and I will be taking my niece and his nephew to Six Flags for some good times at the park. Pay it forward, right? :)

Disguised Answer

It took me a minute or two before realizing what He did, but I got it. I chuckled in my little dungeon, and thought, "Wow. He answers fast." :) I'm a believer in the saying that things happen for a reason, and with that in mind, I will go along for the ride -- twists and turns included. I know with Him, I will not be thrown off the road without a cause. Faith.

Thank You, Lord.
